Shahid Malik is an emerging artist known for his contemporary
approach to traditional miniature painting. He holds a Bachelor of
Fine Arts from the National College of Arts and a Master’s degree
in Fine Arts, awarded with distinction from the Punjab University
College of Art and Design. Malik’s intricate and evocative works
have gained recognition both regionally and internationally.
In 2023, his achievements were acknowledged by the Dubai
Cultural Authority, which awarded him a Golden Visa for
exceptional talent in the visual arts. That same year, he won third
place in the prestigious National Bank of Fujairah Art Award. Malik’s work has been
exhibited in esteemed venues, including Firetti Contemporary in Dubai (2023), Empire
Gallery in New York (2021), and the Astor Palace Gallery with the NYC Art Movement.
His earlier showcases include the Rietberg Museum in Zurich, Switzerland (2019),
where his art captivated audiences with its meticulous detail and innovative
interpretations.
Currently he has conducted several workshop with Ras Al Khaimah Art Frstival and
Sharjah Art Foundation in Linocut and tote bag decoration.
